He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalm 1:3
You’re blessed means that you are empowered to prosper. It means that you cannot wither, you cannot die rather you’re meant to develop frequently, and you’re expected to produce results consistently; the agricultural terminology is fruitful, the commercial is successful. Blessed!
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, let the LORD be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalm 35:27
Mark gives us an account in the third chapter of his book. Here, Jesus walks into the temple and sees a man with a withered hand. The withered hand meant his hand was ill-shapen and he didn’t quite look cool, it meant that it was deformed, and as result he couldn’t work; which basically means, he had a disability and hence was an object of charity. Withered!
Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2
Mark continues the story by telling us that Jesus asked the man to come forward ; and I can almost hear Jesus beckoning him. Come, come, come; you, yes! You, come forward! It’s no secret what I’m about to do in your life, I want people to see, I want them to hear , I want them to know that I am able to reform the deformed, I can bless the cursed, I can make your mess a message, I can cause the withered to flourish, that which is emaciated to be inflated, and the dead to come alive. Come forward! Come forward!! Come forward!!!
Friend, can you hear the word of the Lord to you today? Come! I am going to stop here today and God-willing continue next week. I believe that you have been encouraged, take hold of this word and war a good warfare with it.
Stay Blessed.
