Season of wonders
John 2:
11 Jesus performed this miracle, the first of His signs, in Cana of Galilee. They did not know how this happened; but when the disciples and the servants witnessed this miracle, their faith blossomed.
This passage is one of those that teach about ‘change’ and its impact on the environment and people who’ve experienced it. How it happened, they couldn’t quite explain or deny the encounter. Thus will be your experience in the remainder of this year. What God will do in and through you, people will witness in wonder.
It is amazing how scripture also details this miracle resulted in the disciples’ faith blossoming. This implies that people’s belief in you or lack thereof depends on your certain performances and changes. Ever told someone you are millionaire and they took a good look at you from top–down? Likewise, Jesus probably told these guys he was a miracle-worker, healer, saviour, etc but until he did it, their faith in him was on a much lower level.
This year, may you stand up and out as an authentic specimen, reference and proof. If you need to buy a house, buy it; get a job, get it; have a child, have it; get married, do it!
Someone’s faith will blossom on your account! #hollaapraise
You will win again!
The LORD who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of THIS Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:37
The older I get the more I learn that ALL my past experiences, challenges, and victories are valuable, although there are some, I wished I escaped, and others, relived.
When David was faced with a new situation, he recalled past victories….. He boldly and confidently testified. He was actually saying: I can win again because I have won before. Now, if you have ever overcome anything in life (which I am certain you have), you ought to face your present condition (this philistine) with the confidence and hope that it’ll be over soon!
What are you, you great mountain? Because of Zerubbabel you will become a level plain! Zechariah 4:7
Paws are paws and battles are battles though they may differ in sizes and stages. But I heard a word: You will win again because you have won before#hollaapraise
Good Vision
God’s in it!
I know it’s late but I heard a word – God’s in it. Yes, in the midst of the hurt, pain, heartache, mess, difficulty, drama, whatever it is!
A day in history, Israel lost her king and princes, the enemy fought, won, dispossessed them and took loots. Little did they know, another king (David) was in the making. One that would fight for them and restore their lost glory. You see, Saul will never co-exist with David. He must die so David can ascend the throne.
I am not sure what represents a Saul (A king, trophy, price, comfort, desire, treasure) in your life this moment. I know it may be challenging for you to embrace God’s sovereignty in the midst of your calamity but He’s in it!
Life is nothing but a cycle of no things transforming into some things. Growth occurs when some things die. Promotions occur following demotions. You may have experienced a casting down but there is a lifting up for you. You may have wept as you fled your city but you’re about to be overwhelmed with joy and peace as you return, repossessing your heritage.
That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. Romans 8:28 (The Message)
