Believe and Speak!

Throughout ages, Christians have been also known as ‘Believers’. In fact, we are told in Acts 11:26, it was the believers who were called Christians.

We’re given an account in scripture about two blind men who had witnessed Jesus perform miracles and as a result concluded He was able to restore them to their sight. Jesus asked them “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied.

Why didn’t He just heal them? Why did He ask them if they believed? The reason is: The profession of their faith or belief was an imperative action for their healing. The moment they released the words “Yes, Lord,”, we are told “He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you”.

It’s only a “done deal” when you believe and speak. I encourage you to do so, today.

Help, right where you are – Part 1

God, speaking to us through His prophet Isaiah,  said:

Surely the hand of the Lord is not too short to help, nor His ear too heavy to hear. Isaiah 59:1

By the Psalmist, we know:

He is a very present help in the time of trouble. Psalm 46:1

God is a helper and today, He wants to give you the help you need right where you are!

Listen and be blessed.
