Stay and Sow – Part One

Dear Friend,

I discovered a long time ago that the journey of life is not only measured by how far we go, but by the decisions we have made, instructions obeyed, challenges overcome and works done.

Imagine your life as an aircraft about to take-off. With your flight plan already mapped out and pending execution, arriving at your proposed destination promptly and safely is highly dependent on how well you follow instructions. In this edition of ‘I heard a word’, I share some amazing truths that will help you while on route.

Listen and be blessed.

You Will Rise Again!

Dear Friend,

Hosea 6:2 says:

After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
so that we may live in his presence.

The message of Easter is that of restoration, hope and assurance that the stone can be rolled away no matter how heavy.

Jesus demonstrates this when He tells the twelve disciples “all things which are written through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished. He will be handed over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him and kill him, but on the third day he will rise again”.

Jesus believed and therefore spoke! Friend what are you believing? What are you saying?

Cry Out!

Dear Friend,

Are you believing God for something? Do you need him to show up and turn your situation around? Well, I heard God say – Cry out!

David in Psalm 51: 17 said:

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit.
A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

New Space, Firm Place

Dear Friend,

I wish to sincerely thank you for being a reader/ listener of “I Heard A Word” over the years and for your great support and partnership.  Your e-mails have been really encouraging and a blessing. In this New Year, it is my desire to serve you more than I ever did and I believe you’ll experience a divine visitation and manifestation besides the inspiration.

I have a vision to share this with more people, all over the world and so would encourage you to prayerfully consider partnering with me knowing that the seeds you generously sow into this ministry will not only impact lives but also bring a great harvest of blessing into your life and those around you.

I pray this year that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. So you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit throughout all of 2011.

Firm Steps = Ordered Steps

Hi Friend,

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. When God made Adam, He ordered his steps. God put him in the garden to tend it and was also given instruction, or if you like a prescription, not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

For as long as his steps were ordered, God was delighted in him to the extent that He would come down in the cool of the day to commune with him.

When Adam slipped, things changed, order was broken; he was cast away and then had to fend for himself.  Jeanie here expounds on how ordered steps are firm steps. Listen and be blessed!
